解説
前半部分は出願人が意見書で主張する常套句です。後半部分は、補正により発明の実施例ではなくなった図は本来削除しなければならないのだが、全体の説明上、参考例などとして残しておく場合の表現です。”informational purposes”の代わりに”explanatory purposes”などでもいいですね。また、ニュアンスは微妙に変わるが”heuristic purposes”という表現も見られます。
