応答期限の延長については、平成２８年４月１日より審査段階の運用は変わりましたが、審判段階の運用は変わりません。対比実験データの取得又は審判手続書類の翻訳を理由とするものに限られます。応答期間経過後の延長請求は認められません。

“Office action”は”Office Action”（略語：O.A.）と記載される場合もある。本来の意味としては”Office”のみが大文字であろう。
