請求項１に記載の「レバーに係合するように構成された突起を有するアーム」は係り受けが不明である。「レバーに係合するように構成された」は「アーム」を修飾するようにも読めるが、そうだとしても、アームが「レバーに係合する」ことは明細書及び図面の記載からは明らかでない。

訳文（和文）において文法的な係り受け関係が不明確になることはしばしば起きるが、本問のように原文（英文）においても少なくとも文法的には同様に不明確な場合は、O.A.の内容はそのまま訳しても伝えやすい。文末の「明細書及び図面」の「及び」は明細書でも図面でも明確ではないという意味なのでandではなくorとなります。
