「内側の」、「外側の」、「の上に」などの空間的な相対語は、図示の方向に加えて、使用時又は動作時の装置の種々の方向を包含する。例えば、図示の装置が反転した場合、他の部材「の上に」と記載されている部材は、他の部材「の下に」配置される。したがって、「の上に」という例示的な用語は、上下両方の方向を包含し得る。

Thus, the example term "above" can encompass both orientations of above and below.
